Not long after he found himself wondering if he was going down the right path in the sport, Kamuela Kirk is ready to start taking things to the next level. In his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 189 this past November, Kirk (12-4 MMA, 1-0 UFC) won a unanimous decision against featherweight Makwan Amrikhani in a fight he took on less than a week’s notice. “It was one of the best moments of my life – I don’t mind looking back,” Kirk recently told MMA Junkie.
