The main event for the Nov. 12 UFC 205 event at Madison Square Garden was announced on Tuesday evening. Lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez will face featherweight titleholder Conor McGregor at the UFC’s inaugural event in New York City. The fight card will feature three world title fights, and UFC president Dana White is working on another marquee fight for the already stacked main card. During an appearance on SportsCenter on Tuesday, White revealed that he’s trying to finalize a fight between top lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov and Michael Johnson .
