Kimbo Slice Kevin “ Kimbo Slice ” Ferguson is expected to return to the cage Feb. 19 in a Bellator headliner in Houston against an opponent to be determined. The Houston Chronicle first reported Slice’s (5-2 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) main event spot, and MMAjunkie subsequently confirmed the report with sources close to the promotion, who confirmed the event is Bellator 149 at Houston’s Toyota Center. A Bellator PR official said Slice’s participation is not confirmed. One source close to the promotion said the former street brawler could potentially face the winner of a heavyweight bout at next week’s Bellator 145 between Bobby Lashley and James Thompson , but two separate sources said negotiations are ongoing with another opponent, though they declined to name him.
