However, Lawal (19-5 MMA, 8-4 BMMA) said a victory over Satoshi Ishii (14-6-1 MMA, 0-1 BMMA) in Friday’s Bellator 169 headliner should move him one step close to a second fight against the current Bellator light heavyweight champion Davis (17-3 MMA, 4-0 BMMA). “If I look impressive, which I think I will, then I think that does help the argument to getting the rematch,” Lawal recently told MMAjunkie Radio. “Even though, let’s be real, there shouldn’t be a rematch because I beat him the first time
