When up-and-comer Alex Reyes gets an opportunity, he makes the most of it. Last year, he was given the chance to compete for King of the Cage ’s lightweight title against Victor Meza and ended up winning the bout via fourth-round submission. Once again given a chance at a title, this time against welterweight beltholder Josh Aveles on March 15, Reyes rose to the challenge and claimed his second straight KOTC championship via fourth-round submission.
