Bellator featherweight title challenger Georgi Karakhanyan suffered a knee injury that has forced him out of his title bid against Patricio “Pitbull” Freire . Daniel Weichel has stepped up to take his place in the Bellator 138 co-main event. Promotion officials announced the change on Tuesday. The 27-year-old Pitbull (23-2) is a 13-time veteran of the promotion, who captured the Bellator featherweight title with a September win over then-champion Pat Curran.
