In what promotion officials are calling “one of the biggest fights ever in Europe,” KSW middleweight champ Mamed Khalidov will face welterweight champion Roberto Soldic on Dec. 18. The contest serves as the main event of KSW 65 , which takes place at Gliwice Arena in Gliwice, Poland. The event streams live on KSWTV.com. A 17-year veteran, Khalidov (35-7-2) has long been known as one of the most talented middleweights competing outside of the UFC, boasting career victories over the likes of Scott Askham, Luke Barnatt, Kendall Grove, James Irvin, Matt Lindland, Melvin Manhoef, Jorge Santiago and Jesse Taylor, among others. In October 2020, Khalidov scored a 36-second knockout of Askham to claim the KSW middleweight title for a second time.
