Kyoji Horiguchi Kyoji Horiguchi may have come up short when he challenged for UFC gold earlier this year. The flyweight contender, however, is still determined to become Japan’s first UFC champion. Horiguchi (16-2 MMA, 5-1 UFC), No. 6 in the NOS Energy Drink MMA flyweight rankings , failed to capture the 125-pound belt from titleholder Demetrious Johnson at UFC 186 in April.
