Damon Jackson had big plans heading into his fight with featherweight champion Leonard Garcia at Legacy FC 33 on Friday night, and those planes came to fruition, perhaps beyond his expectations. “Going into the fight, I’ve got to show what I’m capable of and open up a bit more,” Jackson told MMAWeekly.com before the fight. He did just that, and it paid off with a championship bel. Jackson wasted no time opening up and immediately took the fight to Garcia, putting him on the mat and landing in mount.
