Vazquez (8-1) took Friday’s bantamweight title fight against Ricardo Lucas Ramos (8-1) on three weeks’ notice when Augusto Mendes got a call from the UFC. Ramos, an unbeaten Brazilian, had been tearing through opponents – and was a heavy favorite to win Legacy FC’s vacant 135-pound belt.
