Out of the UFC for more than three years, MMA legend Mirko Filipovic is on his way back to the promotion. “Cro Cop” last fought for the UFC in October 2011, when he was stopped by fellow heavyweight Roy Nelson with a third-round TKO. But since then, despite a brief flirtation with retirement, the Croatian has gone 3-1 outside the UFC. Rumors surfaced recently that he was headed to UFC competitor Bellator MMA . But the UFC stepped in and will bring him back to the fold. The UFC has yet to formally make an announcement of the signing, but a promotion official confirmed his signing to MMAjunkie
