LFA 77 will go on as scheduled Friday night, and the heavyweight title will be on the line. But the promotion’s next two scheduled events, LFA 78 and LFA 79, are on hold until a new broadcast partner is secured. Earlier this month, Anthem Sports & Entertainment acquired a majority stake in AXS TV, which had been LFA’s longtime TV home. After the deal, LFA officials were informed that AXS TV was ditching its broadcast deal with the promotion.
