HONOLULU – Liam McGeary was in need of a win heading into Saturday’s Bellator 213. And though he got one , it involved beating someone he considers a friend. Both McGeary (13-3 MMA, 10-3 BMMA) and Muhammed Lawal (21-8 MMA, 10-6 BMMA) had talked about their relationship in the lead-up to the scrap. Although they were cool with each other, it was business for both fighters, which showed as “King Mo” fired away at McGeary’s legs and took some elbows to the face in return.
