Luigi Vendramini thinks Paddy Pimblett is in for a rude awakening when he makes his UFC debut. Vendramini (9-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) meets Pimblett (16-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) in the main card opener of Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 191 where he will look to derail the hype train of the brash Liverpool native. Competing under the Cage Warriors banner, Pimblett has emerged as one of the most popular fighters in the U.K. But Vendramini wants to show the former featherweight champion that the UFC is a different level than he’s used to. “He seems to be a popular fighter in his own country,” Vendramini told MMA Junkie.
