LAS VEGAS – With UFC president Dana White initially on the fence to sign him, Lukasz Brzeski has a point to prove. Brzeski (9-1-1) submitted Dylan Potter in the third round at Dana White’s Contender Series 39 on Tuesday in what was a controversial ending. Potter protested the stoppage and after the replay was aired, it was clear he never tapped. But despite thinking that Potter was never going to fend off the choke, White was a little hesitant before ultimately deciding to award Brzeski a contract. “It was a very stressful moment, but he explained everything,” Brzeski told MMA Junkie and other reporters in attendance at the UFC Apex following Tuesday’s Dana White’s Contender Series 39 event. “I think he made the right decision, and I will prove that.” He continued, “I don’t know if he tapped.
