Macy Chiasson has issued a statement on her late withdrawal from the UFC on ESPN 27 co-main event with Aspen Ladd. Chiasson (7-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) was forced to pull out of the women’s bantamweight bout with Ladd (9-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) late Thursday night. According to “The Ultimate Fighter 28” winner, she aggravated a stress fracture in one of her feet during her final training session and it badly compromised her movement. Chiasson had originally intended to power through the training camp injury, but it was not meant to be.
