Augusto Sakai Slowly, surely and quietly, undefeated Augusto Sakai has been making a little bit of noise in Bellator’s heavyweight division. With a knockout win for the promotion in 2013, one in 2014 and one earlier this year, Sakai (8-0 MMA, 3-0 BMMA) finally is poised to make it two Bellator wins in a calendar year when he meets Alex Huddleston (6-1 MMA, 2-0 BMMA). The big men square off tonight on the preliminary card of Bellator 145, which streams on MMAjunkie from Scottrade Center in St. Louis ahead of a main card on Spike. With just one win by decision in his pro career, Brazil’s Sakai has proven he’s a finisher.
