John Lineker John Lineker  put the UFC in a bad position when he missed weight for his UFC 183 bout with Ian McCall. His manager, Alex Davis, is well aware of that. Lineker (25-7 MMA, 6-2 UFC) should be in position to fight for the UFC flyweight title after earning a unanimous-decision win  over McCall (13-5-1 MMA, 2-3-1 UFC), but his fourth time missing weight in eight fights has forced the UFC’s hand in telling him that he must move up to bantamweight. It also knocked off a potential title challenger in McCall, who came into the fight riding a two fight winning streak. Davis recently told MMAjunkie Radio that he’s in no position to try to argue with UFC officials over their decision to change Lineker’s division.
