Gegard Mousasi ’s manager is confident the UFC middleweight won’t be kept from fighting ex-champ Chris Weidman at UFC 210. “We expect to meet Weidman in Buffalo (N.Y.),” Nima Safapour today told MMAjunkie. Mousasi (41-6-2 MMA, 8-3 UFC) today expressed uncertainty over his appearance in light of U.S. President Donald Trump’s executive order banning people from seven Muslim-majority countries from traveling to the United States for the next 90 days. Born in Iran, Mousasi emigrated to the Netherlands and holds a Dutch passport. “The rule is, even if you’re born in Iran, you’re a threat,” he told MMA DNA .
