LAS VEGAS – UFC 209 was a bad night for Mark Hunt in more ways than one. In addition to suffering a highlight-reel knockout courtesy of Alistair Overeem (42-15 MMA, 7-4 UFC) in their heavyweight pay-per-view opener at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Hunt (12-11-1 MMA, 7-5-1 UFC) was transported to the hospital following the event, where he was apparently diagnosed with a broken tibia in his right leg. Hunt revealed the injury on his Instagram account following the event. It’s unknown at exactly which point in the fight Hunt sustained the injury
