Mauro Ranallo The long-running weekly “Inside MMA” on AXS TV is getting a bit of a facelift in the form of one of the most famous voices in combat sports history. Veteran broadcaster Mauro Ranallo will take the hosting reins later this month alongside fighting legend Bas Rutten and correspondent Ron Kruck, AXS TV today announced. Renallo will take over for Kenny Rice, who has hosted the show with Rutten since its inception. Ranallo, a native of British Columbia, Canada, got his broadcasting start calling pro wrestling. Eventually, he moved to PRIDE in Japan, where he worked alongside Rutten for several years, then Frank Trigg. In time, he moved on to Strikeforce, and then Showtime Boxing duties, where he was part of the call for the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight this past May
