UFC 177 took a big blow on the day of weigh-ins today when Olympic gold medalist  Henry Cejudo was forced out of his promotional debut against Scott Jorgensen . UFC officials announced the news Friday afternoon at UFC.com , less than four hours before the UFC 177 weigh-ins in Sacramento. A specific issue wasn’t given, other than Cejudo (6-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will not be fighting Jorgensen (15-9 MMA, 4-5 UFC) for a “medical reason.” UFC 177 takes place Aug. 30 at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, Calif. The event’s main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. Cejudo’s fight with Jorgensen was scheduled for the FOX Sports 1-televised preliminary card.
