Michael Chiesa is looking to take his career behind the desk to the next level. Chiesa (17-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC), a UFC welterweight contender and fight analyst, spent a few weeks on “Fight Island” in October, previewing and recapping UFC events for ESPN. He’s become a familiar face on the analyst table, but Chiesa’s aspirations don’t stop there. He hopes to follow in the footsteps of a few fellow fighters and eventually transition into live fight commentary. “I want to be a (Daniel Cormier), a Dominick (Cruz), a Paul Felder. I love being an analyst, but the end goal is commentary,” Chiesa told MMA Junkie
