Sean Strickland ’s first UFC main event performance was one-sided. The surging middleweight largely had his way with Uriah Hall at UFC on ESPN 28 . Strickland’s (24-3 MMA, 11-3 UFC) relentless pressure and record output had Hall (17-10 MMA, 10-8 UFC) confused from the outset of the headliner at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, and it buoyed him to a lopsided unanimous decision . It’s overlooked because of his setbacks at welterweight, but Strickland has still never lost in 17 fights at 185 pounds. He’s a force in that division, and his style of fighting is going to create a lot of problems as he climbs further up the rankings. How far up should a win over Hall put him, though?
