CT scan of Miesha Tate’s broken left orbital bone The typically reserved Sarah Kaufman hasn’t been shy in recent days, using social media for one particular callout. Kaufman (17-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) has been calling out Miesha Tate (16-5 MMA, 3-2 UFC), at one point calling Tate a “coward” for not taking a fight with her. She even posted a video on Instagram of her smashing a cupcake with her fist , symbolic given Tate’s “Cupcake” nickname. But in the wake of her come-from-behind victory over Sara McMann (8-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) at UFC 183 less than two weeks ago ( see video highlights here ), Tate has taken offense to Kaufman’s decision to go after her. For starters, Tate says, the broken orbital bone she suffered in her win in Las Vegas has her on medical suspension and unable to book a fight.
