Miesha Tate ‘s busy stretch will continue on Saturday when she gets behind the microphone for Invicta Fighting Championships. Tate, the former Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion, will serve as a guest analyst at Invicta FC 7 alongside play-by-play voice Michael Schaivello and color commentator Muhammed Lawal , promotion officials on Monday announced. Invicta FC 7 takes place at Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City, Mo. The main card airs on pay-per-view (9 p.m. ET, $14.95) following free online prelims at Invicta’s website. The card is headlined by a flyweight title fight between champion Barb Honchak (8-2) and Leslie Smith (6-3-1). In the co-main event, Invicta strawweight champ Carla Esparza (9-2) will defend her belt against Brazil’s Claudia Gadelha (11-0). And in a third title fight on the card, the inaugural Invicta bantamweight belt is up for grabs as Lauren Murphy (7-0) takes on Miriam Nakamoto (2-0).
