But first, he said he must make weight. Completing that part of the deal isn’t as easy as it used to be, Perry (12-4 MMA, 5-4 UFC) said. Getting down to the welterweight limit has proven to be more challenging than usual ahead of the encounter with Oliveira (19-6-1 MMA, 9-4 UFC). “Platinum” insists he will make the required weight, though, especially because failing would result in a fine from his recently altered fight purse.
