Dustin Poirier at UFC 242 Many people believed Dustin Poirier (25-6 MMA, 17-5 UFC) might be the man to push UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov (28-0 MMA, 12-0 UFC) to his limits, but once again it was “The Eagle” who flew highest as he retained his belt. After implementing his overwhelming grappling game over the first two rounds, Nurmagomedov finally made the most of his positioning in the third.
