LAS VEGAS – Molly McCann is eager to get a new chapter going in her fighting career. This Saturday, McCann (13-6 MMA, 6-5 UFC) will make her UFC strawweight debut, as he takes on Diana Belbita (15-8 MMA, 2-4 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 235 . McCann says the reason why she’s dropping from 125 to 115 pounds is that she was fighting opposition much bigger than her, which didn’t help in some of the negative results. “The drop was because I was outsized,” McCann said at Wednesday’s UFC Fight Night 235 media day. “I think you can always see that was the deal.
