Nick Catone After only one fight since 2012, Nick Catone  has announced his retirement from MMA competition. Catone (10-4 MMA, 4-4 UFC) was scheduled to face Vitor Miranda  (10-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) at UFC on FOX 15 on April 18 but was forced to withdraw from the bout due to a litany of injuries, including lingering back issues. UFC on FOX 15 takes place at Newark, N.J.’s Prudential Center, and the main card airs on FOX. Catone was slate for the UFC Fight Pass early prelims. In withdrawing from the fight, Catone also announced he’s stepping away from the sport for good. “My back has probably been the biggest thing slowing me down,” Catone told UFC.com .
