Nick Newell will get another opportunity to compete on the big stage when he makes his Bellator debut next month. Newell (15-2 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) has signed a one-fight deal with the promotion, MMA Junkie today confirmed, and will debut against Corey Browning (4-1 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) at Bellator 225 on Aug. 24. It’s as close to a local fight as the Connecticut native will ever get, because the event takes place at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport
