A fight-day illness has caused the main event of UFC Fight Night 220 to be scratched. Light heavyweight Nikita Krylov is unable to compete against Ryan Spann in the scheduled main event at the UFC Apex due to an illness, according to an announcement on the ESPN+ broadcast. According to UFC reporter Megan Olivi, Krylov (29-9 MMA, 10-7 UFC) arrived at the facilities early to receive fluids and treatment for a food-borne illness, but was determined to be unhealthy to fight.
