Sure, Holly Holm is probably happy to have earned the UFC women’s bantamweight title, but now she’s been awarded what she really coveted: The No. 1 spot in the latest NOS Energy Drink MMA Rankings. OK, so maybe that gold belt means a little more to Holm than the adulation of the MMAjunkie staff. But with her incredible UFC 193 win over former UFC champ Ronda Rousey , Holm became just the second fighter to sit atop the women’s bantamweight rankings.
