Filed under: News , UFC LAS VEGAS – For Saturday’s hotly contested UFC 195 headliner, it all came down to a pivotal and ultra-close third round. In the pay-per-view main event at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena, welterweight champion Robbie Lawler (27-10 MMA, 12-4 UFC) defended his title for a second time after edging Carlos Condit (30-9 MMA, 7-5 UFC) with a narrow split-decision victory . The final scores were 48-47, 47-48 and 48-47 for Lawler. As you can see from the official scorecards (click to enlarge), it all came down to the third round, which is the only one that the cageside judges didn’t agree on: Despite the official verdict, most major media outlets (including MMAjunkie) scored it for Condit, according to  MMADecisions.com
