Former Bellator featherweight champion Pat Curran knows he let a win get away from him in his first fight of 2015 against Daniel Weichel in February. Following three rounds, Weichel was announced the winner via split decision, to which Curran chalks up to not performing as well as he could have. “I could have been more aggressive and pushed the pace and overall just wanted it,” Curran told MMAWeekly.com. “Taking nothing away from Daniel – he had a great performance and was really hungry – but I kind of let it slip away with not looking for the harder shots, pushing for takedowns and trying to win the fight. “I don’t think it was a bad decision at all.
