Patricky’s brother, former featherweight champ Patricio Freire (25-3 MMA, 13-3 BMMA), was immediately seen exchanging his own set of heated words with Chandler (15-3 MMA, 12-3 BMMA), setting the mood for a possible match against his brother’s executioner. When the champ told MMAjunkie he wouldn’t mind taking on the second sibling, Bellator had already scheduled a different 155-pound opponent for Freire – now set to face former UFC champ Benson Henderson (23-6 MMA, 0-1 BMMA) on Friday.
