In Saturday’s UFC 181 pay-per-view headliner, Lawler avenged a March defeat and claimed the welterweight belt from Johny Hendricks at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Events Center. As detailed in our UFC 181 post-fight facts column , Lawler was the first member of Florida’s super camp – which has featured many of the sport’s top fighters – to claim a UFC strap for American Top Team.
