July’s UFC debut in South Dakota has a new bantamweight matchup, officials today announced. Veteran Rani Yahya (21-8 MMA, 6-2 UFC) and promotional newcomer Matthew Lopez (8-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) have been booked for the event. UFC Fight Night 91 takes place July 13 at Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, S.D. It airs on FOX Sports 1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass, though the bout order hasn’t been finalized. Yahya, who’s 6-2 (with one no-contest) since moving from the WEC to UFC in 2011, looks for his third consecutive victory. The 31-year-old Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt earned a submission victory over Johnny Bedford and a split-decision win over Masanori Kanehara in his past two bouts
