Looking back on his most recent fight where he defeated Kobe Ortiz at Bellator 126 last September via second-round submission, Clifford Starks is happy with the win, even though it did not go as planned. “I would probably rate my performance a B- because I had the jitters coming back (from a year layoff) and had a bit of an adrenaline dump in the first round,” Starks told MMAWeekly.com. “The good thing is though that I kept my composure even though I wasn’t feeling great that first round.” Starks explained what he was going through in the early going of the fight. “It was difficult because my legs felt really heavy, my heart was pounding, and things didn’t feel like they were clicking like they normally would. “You want your body to do something, but it’s not doing what you want it to do.
