“Big” John McCarthy Veteran referee John McCarthy will oversee a welterweight title headliner between champ Robbie Lawler (26-10 MMA, 11-4 UFC) and former interim champ Carlos Condit (30-8 MMA, 7-4 UFC) at UFC 195. The Nevada State Athletic Commission voted unanimously during a meeting today in Las Vegas to appoint McCarthy to officiating duties. The five-member commission also selected veteran judges Derek Cleary, Chris Lee and Tony Weeks to score the title fight. UFC 195 takes place Jan.
