LAS VEGAS – Renato Moicano is keen to begin his run in the lightweight division. After splitting his first two results since moving up to 155 pounds in March 2020, Moicano (14-4-1 MMA, 6-4 UFC) will look to start some momentum at UFC Fight Night 190 on Saturday when he meets Jai Herbert (10-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at the UFC Apex. The card streams on ESPN+. Ahead of the bout, Moicano attended UFC Fight Night 190 media day on Wednesday and discussed lessons learned from his knockout loss to Rafael Fiziev at UFC 256 in December, making improvements to his English, and the bout with Herbert. “I always try to prove I’m the best in the world,” Moicano told MMA Junkie.
