In the main event, Justin Lawrence  (7-2) defended his featherweight title on Friday night with a first-round TKO of Sam Toomer  (9-1). But the co-feature was 25 minutes that had fans – and the commentating crew – practically asleep in their seats. Francisco France  (12-3-1) won RFA’s vacant middleweight title without much opposition from Gabriel Checco  (8-2), who was on his back for most of the fight while France rode out a decision. The card also saw LaRue Burley  (6-0) stay unbeaten with a submission of T.J
