Leandro Higo Although Patricio Freire didn’t fare so well Friday night , his student Leandro Higo wowed the crowd in RFA 32’s headliner, stopping Melvin Blumer in the first round. After failing on an initial takedown attempt, Higo (15-2), a disciple of Freires Patricio and Patricky, connected on a combination and set Blumer (12-3) to the mat with an uppercut for a stoppage at the 2:58 mark of the opening frame.
