RFA lightweight champ Thiago Moises (8-1) was tested, but ultimately the Brazilian retained his belt with a gutsy fifth-round finish of game challenger Jamall Emmers (9-3). The fight served as the main event of Friday’s RFA 38 card, which took place at The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, Calif.
