The reigning UFC middleweight champion said it doesn’t matter – as long as the fight takes place in New York City at Madison Square Garden. Weidman (13-0 MMA, 9-0 UFC) posted his third straight title defense after surviving an early onslaught from Vitor Belfort (24-11 MMA, 13-7 UFC) and scoring a much-needed takedown that set up fight-ending ground-and-pound in the first round (watch the Weidman vs. Belfort video highlights ).
