Although Miesha Tate was the initial plan for UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey ‘s next title defense, but inexplicably, she has been set to the side in favor of Holly Holm . Rousey made a special appearance on the “Good Morning America” television show on Friday morning, where she announced the change in plans, saying she would next face Holm on Jan. 2 at UFC 195 in Las Vegas. “January 2, I’ll be fighting Holly Holm, who’s the most decorated striker we have in all of mixed martial arts,” Rousey said. “Not the women’s division, not the bantamweight division.
