Ronny Markes On the day of the weigh-ins, WSOF 20 headliner Ronny Markes is out of the main event. Markes (15-3) was set to meet Dave Branch (15-3) in the promotion’s light heavyweight tournament semifinal headliner on Friday. But a source close to the promotion told MMAjunkie Markes was in the hospital on Thursday, and Jesse McElligott (5-1) has been tapped to fight Branch in the main event. WSOF has yet to make an official announcement, but promotion vice president Ali Ali Abdelaziz confirmed the news to MMA Fighting .
