Some weren’t even casual fans. Jonathan Tucker, for example, steered away from the sport so much that he just figured pro fighters and their fans were an uneducated group. But then they started researching for their roles, and they started training under Greg Jackson and Joe “Daddy” Stevenson. As was bound to happen, actors like Tucker, who plays fighter Jay Kulina, and Matt Lauria, who plays fighter Ryan Wheeler, started to mimic real-life fighters
