ORLANDO – Per his nickname, Sam Alvey always seems to be smiling no matter what. This week in Florida, it might be just a little more than normal. Not having to cut an extra 20 pounds can do that to a fighter. Typically a middleweight, Alvey (31-10 MMA, 8-5 UFC) on Saturday is fighting at light heavyweight at UFC on FOX 28 against promotional newcomer Marcin Prachnio (13-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC). And coming in, he’s been happy.
