The finale of MIMMA Season 2 took place almost exactly a year ago and on the day before the event, Seah Zhang Yu was tucking into a hearty breakfast and perhaps wondering what might have been had he not lost his last fight. The 19-year-old had won his first three fights in the tournament to reach the final. There he faced Muhammad Aiman for the right to be called Season 2 champion and a match-up in the grand finale against the season 1 winner. Yu was submitted in the second round, but received an unexpected reprieve when he discovered Aiman had missed weight.
